About Us

G.E.M.S (Girls Empowered and Mentored in Sports) 501c(3) Tax ID#84-4611173 is the non-profit that sponsors Franklin Travel Basketball (Titans).

We started off just before COVID began in 2020. Our initial mission was to support girls interest in basketball and turn it into a love for the game. During the pandemic we have evolved and have supported the community where there is a need. We currently have travel teams for both boys and girls from 3rd-8th grades.

Our programs run in the Winter & the Summer. We also include many learning opportunities for our players including a heavy focus on basketball IQ. Our players have had many opportunities to see professional games at the Barclay’s Center for both the NETS and the Liberty. They have also visited many local universities including Rutgers, Princeton, and Seton Hall.

Our goal is to help our players learn and love basketball.
