The Upstate Lacrosse Association runs a summer inter-town lacrosse league for all Upstate NY youth players (girls and boys) from 3rd-8th grade. FMYLA currently enters teams for Girls 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and Boys 3/4, 5/6, 7/8. ULA league is a competitive league, not at the level of club lacrosse, but much more so that the clinical skills training of FMYLA. For many kids it is a great first step in competition, but parents and athletes should know that it is not at the recreational level. If you have any questions about your child being ready for ULA, please contact your division head for evaluation. The ULA season starts the week of June 9th and runs through mid-July, with games the week of July 4th. All games are on Monday (3/4 division), Tuesday (5/6 division) or Wednesday (7/8 division) with potential make up dates on Thursdays.
