Peabody Babe Ruth baseball is for players aged 12-19 who want to play baseball.
Spring Season:
For many 12-13 year old kids, the spring is their first time playing on the full-size diamond and as such, we separate the kids into two divisions in our main season (the Spring).
- All 12 & 13-year-olds play in our Prep Division, regardless of their skill level. Many 12-year-olds will continue to play in Little League, so there are few 12-year-olds.
- All 14- 16-year-olds play in our Major Division, regardless of their skill level.
If registered on time, we take players of all skill levels and never turn anyone away (unless signing up late and we are full).
We offer programs for older children in the summer.
Summer:
· Senior Division- ages 16-19. We again try to take all players, until we are full. Registration will open in late April or early May. (Opened April 19)
Fall:
· Fall Ball is for players aged 12 (coming out of Little League) through 15. Registration will open around August 1.
