2025 SPRING BASEBALL

Kent Little League Spring Baseball is a co-ed youth sports program that offers programs for children ages 4 - 16. The program is designed to provide children with an opportunity to learn the game of baseball in a fun and supportive environment. The Spring program begins games in early April and runs through the last weekend of June. Families should expect practices to begin in early April. Tee ball programs will not practice prior to opening day.

The program includes both practices and games, with the emphasis on skill development and teamwork. Families should expect to meet 2-3 times per week. Minors and Majors programs should anticipate 1-2 games a week - one on a weeknight and one on Saturday. Instructional programs may play 2 games a week. Players will learn how to hit, field, throw, and run the bases, while also learning important values such as sportsmanship and fair play.

As a part of the program, players may have the opportunity to travel to neighboring towns such as Fishkill, Philipstown, Wappingers Falls, Hyde Park, and Red Hook to compete against other Little League teams.

Our age date for all levels of play except tee ball is 8/31/2025. Your child's age on this date is the age used to determine their initial level. Players might have their level adjusted based on the skills evaluation. Our youngest players must be 4 by the start of the season.

Kent Little League is operated by volunteers. We need your help to operate our programs and continue to grow our sports community. Partial refunds available for families that volunteer with our organization. Opportunities include managing, coaching, helping with field maintenance and concession stand.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS FEBRUARY 28, 2025
*If rosters are not full by Deadline date, players may have the option of joining another local Little League OR refunds will be given.
