Frequently Asked Questions


1. What is the cost of registration?

Registration fees for the 2026 season are as follows: 

Early Registration (March 1st-April 30th):

Football- $250

Cheer- $150 + Cost of Uniform (due at a later date).

Late Registration (May 1st and Later):

Football- $300

Cheer- $175 + Cost of Uniform (due at a later date).

2. What equipment is provided by the program, and what equipment will I need to provide for my Athlete?

Football- All safety equipment including: Shoulder Pads, Helmet, Padded Pants, (1) Mouthguard, Practice JerseyPractice Pants,  Game Pants, and Game Jersey are provided by the program and included in your registration fee. You are responsible for providing your athlete with football cleats, and a very large water bottle (half gallon or larger) for practice. All these items can be purchased at a Sporting Goods store or Amazon.

Cheer- The Cheer uniform is sold separately and is not included in the registration fee. The full
uniform package is mandatory, and includes: shell, liner, skirt, briefs, warmup set, socks, camp shirt and a                   bow. The cheer coordinator will contact you with uniform fitting dates and will provide you with information         on how to order the cheer uniform. Appox. cost of the complete cheer uniform is to be determined ASAP but         should not exceed $300 plus tax/fees. Cheer uniforms are used for 3+ seasons. The 2026 season will be our             first season with these uniforms, ALL cheerleaders must purchase a complete package for the 2026      season. You will need to provide athletic shoes and athletic wear, and a large water bottle for practices as well as approved game/comp shoes that the cheer coordinator can send you links to. 

3. When do practices start?

Practice start August 2025. All teams (aside from mascots) will practice from 6:00pm-8:30pm
           Monday-Thursday the first week of practice, Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-8:00pm, then drop down to       Tuesday-Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm once school starts. 

4. When, where, and what time are the games?

Jamborree is August 2026. Location TBD.

Regular games are played every Saturday starting September 2025- November 2025. 

Average Game Times:

Mighty-Mites- 10:00am-12:00am
PeeWees- 12:00pm-2:00pm
Jr. Midgets- 2:00pm-4:00pm
Midgets- 4:00pm-6:00pm

*Arrival times are generally one hour or more prior to game time. 

**Please note that some away games might have game times that start one hour later than the above,
but the times listed above are accurate for every home game and most away games.

Home Game Location: Winters High School Football Field. 

Away Game Locations: Towns we will compete against  in our league are: Rio Vista, Woodland, Vacaville, Dixon, East Nicolas, Arbuckle, Davis, Williams and Esparto. Away games vary season to season,
but will be among these towns. 

5. Are parent volunteer hours required? 

Yes! In order to make game days possible, parent volunteer hours per athlete are required!
Positions that need to be filled each game are: Front Gate, Concession Stand, MPR's, Chain Gang,
and more. The volunteer coordinator will have a SignUp sheet available before the season begins
for you to sign up for your preferred shifts. 2 shifts per athlete required; 1 athlete=2 shifts, 2 athletes= 4 shifts, etc. If you do not complete your required shifts you will be charged a volunteer fee as per our bylaws.
