1. What is the cost of registration?
Registration fees for the 2024 season are as follows:
Early Registration (March 1st-April 30th):
Football- $200
Cheer- $115 + Cost of Uniform (due at a later date).
Late Registration (May 1st and Later):
Football- $250
Cheer- $140 + Cost of Uniform (due at a later date).
2. What equipment is provided by the program, and what equipment will I need to provide for my Athlete?
Football- All safety equipment including: Shoulder Pads, Helmet, Padded Pants, Mouthguard,
and Practice Pants are provided by the program and included in your registration fee. You are
responsible for providing your athlete with football cleats, practice jersey, and a very large water
bottle for practice. All these items can be purchased at a Sporting Goods store or Amazon.
Cheer- The Cheer uniform is sold separately and is not included in the registration fee. The full
uniform package is mandatory, and includes: shell, liner, skirt, jacket, shoes, and a bow. The cheer coordinator will contact you with uniform fitting dates and will provide you with information on
how to order the cheer uniform. Cheer uniforms can be purchased in increments, as long as all
pieces of the uniform are ordered by the deadline provided. Appox. cost of the complete cheer uniform
is $400 plus tax/fees. Cheer uniforms are used for 2 seasons. 2024 we will be bringing in a new uniform, ALL cheerleaders will need to order a new uniform package. You will need to provide athletic shoes and athletic wear, and a large water bottle for practices.
3. When do practices start?
Practice start Monday August 5, 2024. All teams (aside from mascots) will practice from 6:00pm-8:30pm Monday-Thursday, then drop down toTuesday-Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm once school starts.
4. When, where, and what time are the games?
Jamborree is August 24th, 2024. Location TBD.
Regular games are played every Saturday starting September 7th, 2024- November 16th, 2024.
Average Game Times:
Mitey-Mites- 9:00am-11:00am
PeeWees- 11:00am-1:00pm
Jr. Midgets- 1:00pm-3:00pm
Midgets- 3:00pm-5:00pm
*Arrival times are generally one hour prior to game time.
**Please note that some away games might have game times that start one hour later than the above,
but the times listed above are accurate for every home game and most away games.
Home Game Location: Winters High School Football Field.
Away Game Locations: Towns we will compete against in our league are: Rio Vista, Woodland, Vacaville, Dixon, East Nicolas, Arbuckle, Davis, and Esparto. Away games vary season to season,
but will be among these towns.
5. Are parent volunteer hours required?
Yes! In order to make game days possible, parent volunteer hours per athlete are required!
Positions that need to be filled each game are: Front Gate, Concession Stand, MPR's, Chain Gang,
and more. The volunteer coordinator will have a SignUp sheet available before the season begins
for you to sign up for your preferred shifts.
