Roosevelt Junior Baseball Association (R.J.B.A) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the passion for baseball in young athletes in grades 6, 7 and 8. Our focus on this particular age group bridges a vital gap in North Portland's baseball landscape, connecting the North Portland Little League experience to Roosevelt High School's baseball program.
Our commitment is to establish an accessible and affordable pathway for aspiring players, particularly those who aim to advance into Roosevelt High School Baseball. We strongly advocate for the transformative power of baseball in shaping the lives of young individuals. Participation in our program extends beyond the field; it's an opportunity for young players to immerse themselves in a nurturing environment, surrounded by peers and mentors who share a profound love for the game and community. Through this sport, we aim to instill essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, respect and community pride, all the while laying the groundwork for players to grow into responsible and engaged citizens.
At R.J.B.A. our ultimate goal is to make baseball accessible to all, fostering a community where every young athlete has the opportunity to thrive both on and off the field.
