Our Organization:
Kohala Chargers Pop Warner Football and Cheer Association is a nonprofit, scholastic, youth football and cheer organization in Kapa’au, HI.
As a scholastic program, Kohala Chargers focuses on strong teaching and providing a positive environment for every child. We strive to create the best possible football and cheer experience, that will carry into other aspects of the children’s lives. The participants must maintain a passing grade percentage to be a part of the Chargers organization. The teaching and coaching brought to the field not only creates well rounded athletes, but valuable students and community members.
We are a traveling team providing all athletes within the organization an opportunity to experience playing and performing with different teams from around the country. In 2024 we were able to take 46 football players and cheerleaders to interisland bowl games on both Kauai and Maui!
