2026 - 2027 CPWA Cheer Season

This is the 2026-2027 CPWA Cheer Season Registration Portal!
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

  • CPWA Cheer this season is year-round based.
  • Registration for the CPWA Cheer Season is $475. As a non-profit, 501(c)3 and an all volunteer run organization a registration fee is required to offer programs. Additional funding is required to help cover the costs associated with an extended year-round operation (extended/additional time indoors for practice, competition fees and uniform supplemental just to name a few examples, not inclusive).
  • PLEASE NOTE: The $375 is the amount that can be paid via a payment plan; $100 is the minimum due at time of registration
  • PLEASE NOTE: CPWA will continue to offer the cheer division of JUNIOR TINY MITE (JTM) and will be for ages 3 - 4 only! Cost for Cheer JTM is $100 since the Cheer JTM season will not be as comprehensive/demanding. JTM Cheer will start August 2026, but you can register early!

CPWA Rams Family & Parents, 

First of all, thank you for allowing Cleveland Pop Warner the opportunity to work with your children this season. There are a few key housekeeping items that we want to initially inform you of: 

  • PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT TO BE DROPPED OFF AND LEFT UNATTENDED UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE COACHING STAFF! A parent or adult guardian must be present during all practices, games, competitions, and events. Football and cheerleading are both extremely physical activities and unexpected things can happen. If an emergency arises that requires you to leave the field, be sure to let your team mom or coach know and make sure they have your cell phone number. 
  • ALL YOUNGER SIBLINGS OR OTHER NON-PARTICIPATING CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES! Our staff of volunteers cannot be expected to keep an eye on non-participant children while providing quality instruction to your young athletes. 
  • MAKE SURE THAT ALL CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED IN THE PARKING AREAS! There is a lot of traffic coming and going during practices and games and we need your help to keep everyone safe. 
  • THE FOOTBALL SLED IS COMPLETELY OFF-LIMITS! The football sled is not a toy and children should not be climbing on or playing around it.  
  • ALL PLAYGROUNDS AND CLASSROOMS ON JCPS PROPERTIES ARE STRICTLY OFF-LIMITS! Our agreement with JCPS allows us access to the fields and permitted inside spaces only. Please make sure that non-participating children are not in or around these playgrounds and classrooms. 
  • MAKE SURE THAT ALL TRASH IS PROPERLY DISPOSED OF. Drop all trash in the dumpster on the way out or take it home with you to dispose of later. 
  • ALL SCHOOL GROUNDS ARE TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, DRUG, AND PET FREE. Please help us maintain these standards.

Explanation of Fees

$275 of the registration fee covers our cost of equipment, practice space and all other costs that are directly related back to our cheer program. Some examples are (not inclusive):

Competition Uniforms
Spirit & Team Packs
Coaches Certifications
Post-season/misc. expense
Lights
Music
Team parent admission fees
Uniform Supplementals
Gym/Floor Mats/Equipment

$100 of the registration fee is what keeps our organization afloat. It covers all our general and administrative expenses. Some examples are (not inclusive):
Insurance
Mailbox rental
Referees
Porta-pots
Trash Pick Up
CFF dues
JCPS home field fee
Game day CvHS onsite coach
Tax preparation
Office supplies / misc. (i.e. field maintenance)
Bowl Game Expenses
Registration/Website Fees
Background checks
Concessions
Pop Warner patches
Office rent / Storage (as needed)

$100 of the registration fee is an equipment and volunteer deposit. This fee is fully refundable if the following criteria are met:

All loaned competition uniform pieces are returned at the end of the season. 
Each family must complete 5 volunteer hours at CPWA hosted game days and community events. As a 100% volunteer-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our resources are limited and we require volunteers to help with the chain gang, counting plays, admissions, and concessions on game days.

Portions of the fees can be fundraised and paid back via reimbursement unless otherwise stated . CPWA does have opportunities for various fundraisers throughout the season.

Are there additional costs and fees?
Yes. CPWA is part of National Pop Warner that offers a comprehensive type of season. Pop Warner offers various post season options of football play, which would include post season cheer.
Participants and their families are responsible for their own transportation for practices and games. Portions of post season travel can be paid via fundraising.

Each CPWA participant has a commitment to support fundraising and volunteer activities as established by the CPWA Board.
