During our first two weeks of practices, all cheerleaders will complete 20 hours of mandatory conditioning consisting of learning sideline cheers, jumps, tumbling and conditioning drills. This is mandatory by Pop Warner rules. After the 20 hours are complete, teams will be allowed to begin stunting. It is important that cheerleaders attend all practices so they receive their 20 hours.
Games:Cheerleaders will cheer at on average 8 football games, all on Saturdays. We do travel and will cheer at away games that will be at other locations in the Peace River Conference. A game schedule will be given out at the beginning of the season. If a football team makes playoff, cheer teams will cheer at the playoff games.
Competition:All cheer team will be participating in a local Pop Warner Cheer Competition- usually towards the end of October. Jr. Tiny will preform in the exhibition only division. All other teams that place 1st or 2nd in their division will advance to the Pop Warner Regional Competition in Orlando- usually hosted on the weekend of Thanksgiving. Teams that place 1st or 2nd at the Regional competition will advance to the Pop Warner National Competition in Orlando- usually the second week in December.
