Nederland Youth Football Association was founded in 2003 and is non-profit organization governed by Southeast Texas Junior Football League.

NYFA’s core focus is to serve youth in our area.  We strive to encourage and increase youth participation in football, cheerleading, and track while ensuring a safer and positive playing environment for all participants and instilling life-long values of teamwork and dedication on and off the playing field. 

NYFA is open to youth ages 5-12 years old (as of August 1st of previous year) who have not entered 7th grade yet.  The divisions of NYFA are as follows:                   
              Flag:                5-6 years old
                                Pee Wee: 7-8 years old                                     
Junior:             9-10 years old                                     
Senior:         11-12 years old

Tackle football consist of Pee Wee, Junior, and Senior divisions.  Only participants who are ages 5-6 years old are eligible for Flag division.
