2024 San Antonio Wolverines Cheer and Dance Program

Welcome to the San Antonio Wolverines Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Program, where passion for the sport meets a commitment to personal growth, teamwork, and community. We are thrilled to invite you to join our family and embark on an exciting journey in the world of competitive youth cheerleading.

Age Groups: Cheer ages 5 - 12 (Age as of July 31, 2024) Our Tiny Mites will be ages 5- 6-year-olds and compete in a limited level one category. Our Mitey Mite Division will include athletes ages 7-, 8-, & 9-year-olds with level one skills. Our Pee Wee Division will be for all athletes ages 10-12. Any 9-year-olds with level two skills can be placed on this division as well. Final placement is determined by the Head Coach and the Cheer Director.

Practice Start Date: August 1st, 2024.

Uniforms and Equipment: We have a Returning Athlete Cheer Uniform Package (Game Uniform Top Only - Price TBD) and a New Athlete Cheer Uniform Package that will be the cost of the Competition Uniform + Game Uniform Top - and those amounts and due dates will be communicated upon registration. Overall, this season we are going to try and keep the cost of these uniforms minimal by using the same skirt for both the Games and Competitions. But they are high quality Rebel uniforms that last us years. We also have a practice wear package that will vary from $45 - $65 depending on the size of the teams. The first two weeks of practice are conditioning, and parents will need to provide their athletes with a plain white t-shirt and navy/black Sofee shorts. After that, the practice wear is issued, and we will have assigned practice sets at each practice for uniformity/accountability purposes.

Only athletic/running shoes with laces are allowed at practice. Our goal is to instill discipline and responsibility in our young athletes.

Paperwork Needed: Birth Certificate (due upon registration to verify age), Pop Warner Parent/Athlete Contract, Medical History Form, and Report Card for the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year. The deadline for all documents (excluding birth certificate) is August 1st. The best way to secure a spot on the roster is to have all documents submitted as soon as possible.

Payment Plan available: Pay just $50 plus all additional merchandise at registration and the remaining balance will be automatically charged to your credit card on April 1st! Each installment is subject to a $3.00 Service Fee payable to Sports Connect.
