This partnership combines the strength of a trusted local program with the resources of NSYA—creating more opportunity, more access, and more soccer for our kids and families.

Here’s what families can expect:

• All teams will continue practicing in Stayton

• Led by local volunteer coaches

• Under the direction of Chris Shields, Stayton High School Boys Head Soccer Coach

• Saturday games at the award-winning Pioneer Sports Park (home of Capitol Futbol Club)

• A limited number of games at Chemeketa Community College

• Teams for Kindergarten–8th grade

• Spring & Fall seasons

• Just $85 per season

• No-cost off-season training opportunities

• Potential indoor games during the year

• Every athlete receives a brand-new uniform (jersey, shorts & socks)

• PLUS a Stayton Soccer Club hoodie

• 2nd–8th graders will also receive a backpack for their gear!

NSYA Track and Field is a recreational introduction to both running and field events. We offer three different age division, kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade. Practices and meets will be held at the Stayton High School track.

This 6-week program focuses on creating healthy habits and goal setting in a positive and encouraging environment. Practices consist of a variety of age appropriate running activities, as well as an introduction to field events. There will be two practices a week for the first two weeks, then will go to 1 practice and 1 meet a week. Meets will be held on Thursdays.

Volunteers are needed for Thursday meet days. If you would like to help, please let Track and Field Director Andrew Church know at the first practice of the season.

Track is a Spring sport and begins just after Spring Break.
