We have numerous resources available to help you understand our guiding principles as well as to give you a better understanding of what this great game of street hockey is all about.

INTERESTED IN COACHING? 
We hope so! There is no greater bond that you will form with your child then through coaching them in youth sports. We will walk you through everything that you will need to be a successful coach in this program. No experience is necessary. Just great moms & dads that are willing to learn, and pass on their understanding of the game to a bunch of eager little boys and girls who are looking to a have great time playing the game of flag football.

2. NHL Street Volunteer Agreement- So you're interested in coaching? Here you will find the official NHL Street Volunteer Agreement. 

3.. NHL STREET Prohibited Conduct Policy – Just to make sure our philosophies are in line with each other, here are our policies in regards to coaching etiquette in this league.

4..  NHL STREET Adult - Minor Exceptions Policy -  Volunteering to coach is a serious responsibility. It is our job to help you understand all aspects of this position so that you are always observant and aware of possible dangers.

5.  Concussion & Return to Play Protocol– To coach in our program, every coach must understand the dangers and warning signs of concussions. Therefore, it is required to that you take and pass the NHL Street Concussion Training which is based on the CDC Heads Up Concussion test. It's a 30 minute video with a quiz at the end of each chapter. To take this test, you must be registered to coach in our program.  Please click on the hyperlink,  enter the season in which you are participating and enter your email. 

6. .NHL STREET One-on-One Interactions Policy – Sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of the purpose of our responsibilities as a coach. Here are some basic understandings of what we are looking for from a quality coach in this program.

7.. NHL STREET Cardiac Response Protocol - Sudden cardiac arrest events can vary greatly. NHL STREET staff, Coaches and Cardiac Emergency Response Team (CERT – defined in Appendix A) members must be prepared to perform the duties outlined in the protocol.

In addition, you may use the chat function, scheduling capabilities and more! 

2. Coaches: What to Expect on Game Day – For coaches, game day is an action-packed, fast-paced day. Whether it’s your first-time coaching or you’re looking for a refresher, we’ve outlined exactly what you can expect on game day—with tips—so you’re set up for success.

4.  List of NHL STREET Infractions and Penalties- At NHL STREET, our number one priority is always keeping our players safe. Whether you’re a league operator, parent, coach, or player, it’s important to familiarize yourself with all the infractions in street hockey.

1. PLAYER AGREEMENT WAIVER-As part of the registration process, all players are required to complete this waiver!

2. VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT WAIVER-When registering coaches or other volunteers, be sure to include this required waiver!
