It's time for another busy week, Copperheads families, so let's dive in!

Mandatory football practices continue Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. to ensure all our football athletes have met the ten-hour training minimum and can begin practicing in full helmets and pads. Practice will also be held Saturday from 9-11 a.m.

Our cheer teams will practice Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

All practices will be held at Catawba Ridge High School.

IMPORTANT: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

We've had several instances of athletes feeling the signs of dehydration shortly into practice time. It's important to remember that hydration starts before practice. It is recommended that athletes drink 16 to 24 oz of water or sports drinks before practice.

Please ensure your athletes come to practice hydrated and bring weather-appropriate attire, a water bottle, and cleats. Cheerleaders should bring pom poms if they have them.

Two-Minute Drill Digest:

• Please do NOT park along the road between the practice fields and the Catawba Ridge High School stadium. High school athletes will be practicing in those facilities, and the administration has asked that parking be limited to the parking lot.
• Last week, our football players received fittings for uniforms, pads, and helmets. If your child could not attend, please get them sized as soon as possible at the concession stand on the track field.
• During the season, tackle players will need integrated football pants, a practice jersey, non-metal football cleats, and a mouth guard that attaches to the helmet facemask.
• Board members are selling used practice jerseys for $5/each while supplies last. Check-in at the concession building
