2025 Copperheads Tackle Football Season

Welcome to the Carolina Copperheads Tackle Football Program. We would like to share some important details in preparation for the upcoming season.

Our mission is to encourage and increase youth participation in our tackle football programs in a structured and positive environment, while instilling life-long values of teamwork, dedication, and a superior work ethic.

Season practices start July 7th. Practices will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Beginning in August, we expect Saturday game days through the end of the season.

Pop Warner games require a minimum number of players to participate in an official game. To ensure a successful season for all players, we encourage athletes to attend all practices and games, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Pop Warner is responsible for all game scheduling. Throughout the season, the league attempts to pit equal-level, same-aged teams on Saturdays to ensure more balanced competition. However, schedules may be released closer to game day. We will communicate with our families when we receive any scheduling and/or changes.

Players will be placed in positions based on individual evaluations that the coaches will conduct through pre-season.

The Carolina Copperheads is a volunteer-based organization that thrives with the help and participation of our families. If possible, please consider assisting as a coach, team parent, or game-day volunteer.
