For over 8 years, Rob and Corinna Maldonado, founders of Walter Hill Youth Chargers (WHC), have been integral figures in youth football, serving as coaches, business managers, and members of their hometown board. Now, answering their calling, they have established WHC to provide young individuals with a safe, structured, and supportive environment to participate in team sports and activities. Rooted in biblical principles, their mission is to instill fundamental values such as humility, teamwork, positivity, and selflessness, ensuring every participant is equipped with a strong foundation for lifelong success.
WHC is a youth and community-focused organization dedicated to providing opportunities for young people to participate in football and cheerleading programs. Through our programs, we aim to not only develop athletic skills but also to instill foundational values and life skills that will benefit participants for the rest of their lives.
Our goals include increasing participation while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. We prioritize high-quality coaching and mentorship, community engagement, and accessibility of programs for all youth. Through promoting sportsmanship and fair play, achieving competitive success, and maintaining financial stability, we strive for continuous improvement in our programs, driven by feedback and evaluation. WHC is committed to fostering the holistic development of young individuals and building strong connections within the community.
WHC is open to kids ages 5 - 12 (at start of season August 1st of current season) that live in the Murfreesboro, TN.

Here are a few Reasons you should join Walter Hill Chargers:
Mandatory Play Requirements – Everyone participates under mandatory rules of play. Each league may set a higher number of Mandatory Plays, but never less than the minimum set by SMTYFL. All MPR's should be based on eligible players at the time of the game.
More than just athletes! – We are creating Student Athletes. Student first... Athlete second. We believe that the standards we have set give these children a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics and athletics that will help them develop later on in life.
Coaches and Adult Codes – All coaches, football and spirit participants must abide by a Code of Conduct which includes several provisions. If any of these rules are broken, the League shall have the authority to impose a penalty
