Becoming a OUSL (Orcutt United Soccer League) Referee. 

To become a youth referee you need to start by getting your referee license. Download the Cal South checklist from here

This is a copy of the list for you to review the requirements. 

• Minimum Age: 13 Years old

• USSF Registration Fee: Cost of $80 paid online.

• Create a US Soccer LC profile for the First Time Referee Candidate. (Not for the parent)

• Verify Email for US Soccer: If Referee is a minor, then Parent must also click on email verification link sent by US Soccer. 

• Take a 2025 New Referee Course (takes 4 hours)

• Referee Preparation Training (RPT) In Person or Virtual format (We will be hosting one on September 14, 2024, 3:30 pm @ Lakeview Jr High)

• If over the age of 18 a Live Scan Background Check.

• Upon emailing checklist your license will be processed & mailed within 3-4 weeks. 

• Get your official Gear!
