Our Mission
The Vinton Shellsburg Soccer Club was founded in 2022 with a mission to promote and develop the sport of soccer within our community. Over the years, we have grown from a small group of soccer enthusiasts to a robust club that serves youth players. Our club has been a cornerstone of the local soccer scene, providing a structured and supportive environment for players of all skill levels to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Our Philosophy
At the Vinton Shellsburg Soccer Club, we believe that soccer is more than just a game; it is also a means to provide personal and community development. Our philosophy centers on the following key principles:
Inclusivity: We are committed to making soccer accessible to everyone in our school district, regardless of their skill level, or socio-economic background.
Player Development: We focus on the development of our players, emphasizing not only technical and tactical skills but also physical fitness, mental resilience, and sportsmanship.
Community Engagement: We strive to foster a sense of community both on and off the field. Our programs are designed to build teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong love for the sport. We also work closely with partners in our community so support our program for long-term success.

Our Programs
We offer a wide range of programs to cater to all ages and skill levels, including:
Late Elementary for ages 10-12, This program aims to develop foundational soccer skills. Players will be  grouped by age and skill level to ensure balanced and competitive play. The focus is on skill development and sportsmanship.
Middle School for ages 13-14, This level will emphasizes advanced skill development and tactical understanding of the game. Players participate in regular practice sessions, friendly matches, and local tournaments. The program encourages teamwork, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for soccer.

We are proud to offer fields for training and games that provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our players and spectators. We continually invest in upgrading our infrastructure to meet the needs of our growing community.
