Jr. NBA of Lexington, Winter 24-25

Jr. NBA of Lexington Youth Basketball League
At Jr. NBA of Lexington, we teach youth athletes basketball fundamentals the best way we know how—directly from the pros. Powered by the NBA and WNBA, all of our programming is professionally curated to ensure your child receives top-tier training and development.

League Overview:
  • Age Groups: Boys and girls, 5 to 10 years old for our inaugural season (we plan to add 12U and 14U next summer)
  • Practice Schedule: Tuesdays
  • Game Schedule: Thursdays
  • Season Dates: Begins December 3, takes a holiday break, and finishes on February 6
  • In-Season Tournament: Just like with the real NBA, Jr. NBA of Lexington will be hosting a mid-season tournament over the holidays with days and times TBD.
  • Location: The Lexington Ice Center and Sports Complex (560 Eureka Springs Dr, Lexington, KY 40517), featuring 3 full-size basketball courts with newly refurbished hardwood floors

What to Expect: The Jr. NBA of Lexington program is designed to accommodate boys and girls of all skill levels, offering a structured environment where young athletes can learn the core values of basketball, foster their love for the game, and—most importantly—have fun.

NHL Street of Lexington, Winter 24-25

NHL STREET Youth Hockey League
Welcome to NHL STREET, where hockey meets a new level of style, energy, and accessibility! Our league is designed to bring the thrill of hockey to your neighborhood, offering an affordable and fun way for kids to learn and play the sport.

League Overview:
  • Location: The Yard Athletic Complex
  • Schedule: Friday evenings
  • Age Group: 5 to 14 years old

What to Expect: In our inaugural season, your child will participate in both gameplay and practices held at The Yard Athletic Complex. Every Friday evening, they'll join their teammates in a dynamic and supportive environment where they can develop their skills and enjoy the game.

Authentic Experience: Our young athletes will feel like true professionals, suiting up in authentic NHL STREET uniforms like the Vegas Golden Knights or the Nashville Predators. This high-energy, team-first league is designed to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for hockey, regardless of prior experience.

Additional Information: Players will be running, quickly changing direction, and stopping and starting. That’s why we recommend wearing a comfortable pair of gym shoes and athletic shorts or pants. While every player who registers with NHL STREET receives an official jersey before their first game, we also suggest purchasing a mouth guard for added safety. Sticks will be provided.

No Skating Required: This league focuses on street hockey, so there is no skating involved.
