FCA FINS Baseball Head Coach - Jason Herblet

Coach Herblet has been involved in coaching at the youth and high school levels his entire adult life.  He started coaching high school baseball with his brother, Nick, in Michigan while still in college at Cornerstone University.  He was a standout 3 sport athlete in high school and has gravitated towards his love for the game of baseball.  He is an incredibly respected high school coach in NE Ohio and has headed up the CVCA High School baseball program for the past 9 years.  He earned his bachelor's degree in health/physical education and attained his Masters Degree from Concordia University in Coaching and Athletic Administration.  He has run many youth camps, clinics, and has had great success as a high school coach.  He is looking forward to leading the FINS Club and using the gifts God has blessed him with to further the Kingdom.  Coach Herblet is a true student of the game, constantly looking for ways to perfect his craft.  He and his wife Angela reside in Stow with their 3 children.  

Coach Herblet on why the FINS - “I believe in a world that so desperately needs Jesus, using the game of baseball is a great tool for us to share His love. The FINS gives us an opportunity to not only compete at a very high level, but to do it in a way that honors Jesus Christ.”

Coaching Staff:
Our coaching staff is exceptional, with a wealth of experience and knowledge. They are dedicated to not only developing your skills on the field but also helping you grow as individuals. Together, we will focus on shaping you into great baseball players and, more importantly, young men who love to play for Christ.

14u Head Coach: Kevin Gross

Kevin is 1992 graduate of Hudson High School where he lettered in both football and baseball. He played collegiate baseball as a catcher at the United States Air Force Academy. He has over 25 years of experience coaching baseball at the collegiate, high school and youth levels.  He is a firm believer in player development and strives to get his athletes to reach their potential.  He and his wife Julia have 4 children and live in Hudson, OH.

Kevin on why the FINS - “I am excited to be a part of FINS and to not only teach the game of baseball but to integrate it with building character and faith into young men.”

13u Head Coach: Casey Kjos
Casey Kjos is a dedicated youth athletics coach with over 15 years of experience inspiring and mentoring young athletes. For the past 5+ years, he has been actively involved in coaching youth baseball, where he combines his passion for sports with a commitment to character development and teamwork.

Casey is a firm believer in the power of sports to shape lives and instill valuable life lessons. His coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in his faith in Jesus Christ, guiding his approach to leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. 
Married for 16 years, Casey and his wife are proud parents of four children, who are actively involved in various sports and community activities. His family is the cornerstone of his life, and together they are committed to serving their community and sharing the love and teachings of Jesus Christ with others.

Casey on why the FINS - "I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can grow not only in their skills but also in their faith and character."

12u Head Coach: Paul Muklewicz
Paul is a phenomenal youth coach who focuses on player development and teaching his players to play the game with great intensity and high integrity.  Paul brings over 20+ years of coaching at the youth and high school level.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to the FINS staff and we are truly blessed to have him on our team.  He is a follower of Jesus Christ, the one whom life makes sense.  Married to wife Suzy, who's pursuit of Jesus inspires him daily.  He is the proud father to Anna, Josh, Caleb, Isaiah, and Shiloh.   
Paul on why the FINS - "I am excited to coach in a program that gives us a competitive and fun environment to play the game that we love for the God who made us and loves us."

12u Assistant Coach: Aaron Clark
Aaron is a baseball guy through and through, as he loves playing, coaching, and watching the game.  He is a 2000 grad of CVCA High School, where he played for the Royals, and has over 7 years of experience coaching youth baseball, basketball, and flag football.  Aaron resides in Streetsboro with his wife Lauren, son Logan, and daughter Taylor.  They attend Parkside Church where they are very active serving as small group leaders and in the children's ministry.  

Aaron on why the FINS - "I am really excited to be a part of something new built around two things I love: Jesus and baseball. I can't wait to grow alongside these boys, challenge them on and off the field as they grow into young men, and enjoy this great game of baseball together."
