Torrington PAL is excited to launch our very first Robotics Camp — an engaging and hands-on experience designed to introduce students to the world of robotics, technology, engineering, and innovation.

Throughout the week, campers will work with experienced instructors while learning the fundamentals of robotics, coding, problem-solving, teamwork, and design. Participants will take part in interactive activities and challenges that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning as they explore how robotics and technology are shaping the future.

In addition to building and programming robotic projects, campers will also have the unique opportunity to experience live demonstrations and interactions with advanced, high-end robots. These exciting demonstrations will allow participants to see cutting-edge robotics technology in action while learning about real-world applications in engineering, automation, and STEM careers.

Our Robotics Camp is designed for students of all experience levels — whether they are completely new to robotics or already have a strong interest in technology and engineering. The camp provides a fun, supportive, and energetic environment where students can learn new skills, collaborate with peers, and build confidence through innovation and discovery.

We are excited to bring this new opportunity to the community and look forward to an unforgettable week of learning, creativity, and hands-on robotics experiences!

The Torrington PAL Make the Play Basketball Camp is back for another exciting summer! This camp is designed to help players of all skill levels build confidence, improve their basketball abilities, and enjoy the game in a fun and positive environment.

Throughout the week, campers will receive comprehensive instruction from experienced coaches and staff, with a strong focus on basketball fundamentals including ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, defense, teamwork, and overall game awareness. Participants will take part in targeted drills, skill stations, competitions, and daily activities aimed at helping each player continue to grow and develop their game. Each day will also feature exciting scrimmages and live game play, giving campers the opportunity to apply what they have learned in real basketball situations while building teamwork and sportsmanship. In addition to skill development, our goal is to create an energetic and supportive atmosphere where players can compete, make new friends, and have a great experience both on and off the court.

Whether your child is newer to basketball or looking to continue sharpening their skills, the Make the Play Basketball Camp offers a fun and rewarding week of learning, competition, and growth. We look forward to another great summer of basketball!
