League Age is determined by what age the player will be come August 31, 2026.
Register for the division the site provides you based on your player's date of birth. There will be a question later in the registration process to choose if you would like your player to play in a different division than their date of birth dictates based on their skill level.
For example:
Tee Ball is generally for players age 4-6, but skilled 6 year olds can elect to play up in the minors.
Minors/Player Pitch is generally for players age 7-8, but skilled 6 year olds can elect to play up in the minors.
Majors is for players 9-12, but if you feel that your 9 year old is not ready for Majors, they can play down in the minors.
League Age Determination - Little League
Starting with the 2025 season, children at the youngest level of the Little League® Baseball (League Age 4-7) will have the ability to register for any Little League program they choose, without respect to any geography- or school-related eligibility requirements. Those players who register under this option will also be fully eligible to participate in all aspects of league play, including International Tournament play, for the duration of their Little League careers provided they have continuous and unbroken participation within the specific league where initially registered and provided all other participation eligibility requirements have been met.
