Hi Novato South Families,

We have a great opportunity for our players over Spring Break that we’re excited to share with you.

We will be hosting a 3-day hitting clinic with Coach Gino Pomilia at Hamann Field for players ages 8–12. This is a great chance for kids to build confidence at the plate while learning simple, effective fundamentals in a fun environment.

Dates: Monday, April 6 – Wednesday, April 8

Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Location: Hamann Field (Olive School)

Cost: $225 per player

Bat, helmet, snacks, water, and sunscreen

Hitting doesn’t need to be complicated. Coach Pomilia focuses on simplifying the swing through strong fundamentals and repeatable mechanics. Players will rotate through stations and train with the “Easton Thunderstick,” a tool he invented to help develop proper swing path and bat control.

Gino brings a ton of experience to the field. He’s coached multiple championship teams, including several MCAL titles at Marin Catholic and Redwood High School, and led Redwood’s first undefeated MCAL championship team. He’s also been a Major League scout for over 25 years and coached at Cal State Northridge (CSUN). He’s widely known for developing hitters and for inventing the Easton Thunderstick.

We want to make this a great experience for as many players as possible, so we encourage you to sign up early.

Also, if you’re a coach and want to be out there helping or just learning his hitting approach, Gino is completely open to having coaches join and be part of the clinic. Just let me know if you’re interested.
