Spring 2025 Baseball

Novato South Little League Families,
Welcome to Novato South Little League – where kids learn, play, and grow! We’re excited to invite players ages 4-13 to join us for an exciting season of baseball. Our goal is to form balanced teams across competitive divisions that best match each player’s age and skill level. Here’s what you need to know about our league structure and the registration process:

Document requirements for registration: PLEASE HAVE THEM READY TO UPLOAD ONLINE.

Birth certificate
Proof of Residency - these can be done in one of two ways

League Age & Divisions: Each player’s League Age, which may differ from their actual age, determines their eligibility for divisions. Be sure to confirm your child’s official League Age using the 2025 Baseball Age Chart.
 
Divisions:
  • Little Sluggers (4 years old): $175
  • Tee Ball (5-6 years old): $275
  • A Minors (Coach/Machine Pitch, 6-8 years old): $275
  • AA Minors (Machine/Player Pitch, 8-10 years old): $375 (7 years old eligible but need to contact [email protected] before evaluations)
  • AAA Minors (Player Pitch, 9-11 years old): $375 (8 years old eligible but need to contact [email protected] before evaluations)
  • Majors (10-12 years old): $375
  • Intermediate 50/70 (13 years old): $275
 
Player Evaluations:
Scheduled for January 25 & 26, 2025. Evaluations are required for ages 8-12 (and 7-year-olds requesting AA).
 
Draft Procedures: Following evaluations, players will be drafted into divisions based on age and skill level:
  • AA Division: 9 & 10-year-olds must be drafted. Any 7 & 8-year-olds who try out for AA but are not drafted will be placed in Single A.
  • AAA Division: 11-year-olds must be drafted. Any 9 & 10-year-olds not drafted will be placed in AA.
  • Majors Division: 12-year-olds must be drafted. Any 10 & 11-year-olds not drafted will be placed in AA or AAA.
 
Opening Day : Scheduled for Saturday, March 8.

Novato South Little League Winter Clinics - Back by Popular Demand!
 

Limited Space—SIGN UP TODAY!

We’re excited to announce the return of the NSLL Winter Player Development Clinics in partnership with Future Prospects Baseball! Each clinic consists of six 90-minute sessions, ideal for preparing players for tryouts, spring season, and building foundational skills. All sessions will be held at Future Prospects Baseball in San Rafael, led by founder Charles Scott, who has been coaching Marin's youth since 2002. Our clinics consistently sell out, so don’t miss your chance!

Clinic Cost: Each clinic is valued at over $600 but offered for $175 per player. Choose one, two, or all three clinics without overlap in scheduling. Clinics are organized by League Age (as of August 31, 2023). NSLL players get priority, though NSLL enrollment isn’t required.

Available Clinics (6 Sessions- $175):

  1. Hitting Clinic
  • Dates: January 8 - January 29
  • Overview: Focuses on batting fundamentals—stance, swing path, rotation—using HitTrax and FungoMan machines.
  • Group A (Ages 8-9): Mondays & Wednesdays, January 6 - January 22 (5:00 - 6:30 PM)
  • Group B (Ages 10-11): Mondays & Saturdays, January 6 - January 25 (Mon 6:30 - 8:00 PM, Sat 10:30 AM - Noon)
  • Group C (Ages 12-13): Wednesdays & Saturdays, January 8 - January 25 (Wed 6:30 - 8:00 PM, Sat 9:00 - 10:30 AM)
