Players move up after one season in T Ball or previous year of softball. The focus of this level is still on fun, participation and introduction to softball skills. Coaches will begin to give instruction in the basics of softball, such as a proper batting stance and swing and some fielding skills involved with playing the different positions. Players will also begin to learn the rules of the game. All players bat and play the field every inning of the game and the coaches pitch to the batters on their own team. As with Tee-Ball, scores are not kept and there are no standings and no playoffs.
A player can be 11 as long as they were 10 on August 31st 2025.
