The Jersey Shore Baseball Association began in 2012 and was officially formed in 2013.  The youth baseball landscape has changed dramatically over the past 20 years and the need for a youth  sports organization to help blaze a trail and navigate through this ever changing landscape was and is essential.  Baseball is a sport where it is easy to get left behind when endeavoring to play at higher levels.  Unfortunately the vast majority of the baseball programs are business' with signifigant overhead, and thus the costs to play in these programs can be prohibitive.  JSBA is run by volunteers, and we endeavor to keep the costs for our registrants as low as possible, often times covering expenses for those without adequate means to pay.  We are VERY happy to do this.

Jersey Shore Baseball began with 2 teams JS North and JS South.  From there the JS Fire was formed and  the Fire blazed a trail that few other teams or organizations can compare to.  The Fire core of players competed together from  2013 through 2022 with many great players playing for the team over that time period.  In all  7 core players and 15 players overall went on to play at the college level, and this # does not include our many succesful players whom simply chose not to continue their baseball careers.  The Fire completed their final season in 2022 winning 3 of 4 tournaments, and won 32 in total over the teams history.  This team took great pride in all of times they defeated teams that charged more then 10 times what our families payed to play to win championships.

The JSBA Way lives on today.  We are still offering training opportunities for kids at all skill levels while buidling and rostering tournament teams.   We do this at a fraction of the cost of the baseball programs in this higher level travel/tournament and training programs.  Please meet our volunteer Staff...
