Player and Parent Conduct Policy
As a member of the Oklahoma Independent Youth Football League (OIYFL) and its city organizations, each parent/guardian agrees to:
1. Conduct themselves as a representative of the organization.
2. Treat all players, parents, coaches and officials with respect.
3. Adhere to all regulations, policies and activity requirements, or be dismissed from the playing area.
As a member of the Oklahoma Independent Youth Football League (OIYFL) and its city organizations, each player agrees to:
1. Follow the rules of the game, the authority of the officials, and the instruction of their coach.
2. Respect players (team mates, opponents) on and off the field. Any behavior problems will be dealt with by the coach and may affect future play.
This policy applies to all parents, players and spectators affiliated with the OIYFL. All players, coaches, spectators and other members must conduct themselves in a manner that is respectable to the organization. Disciplinary action will be taken in situtations where a positive example is not being displayed, IAW By Laws Section 39, subpara. 1-9.
Code of Conduct
39.1 Each team shall be responsible for keeping the spectators orderly on and off the playing field and behind the spectator's boundary.
39.2 Shouting abusive language at a player, officials, or spectators is strictly prohibited, and violations shall result in immediate enforcement.
39.3 At the immediate time of any incident or physical abuse of a coach, player, official or spectator, the officials will meet with the head coach of both teams in order that every effort is made to identify the assailant.
39.4 Physical abuse of a coach, player, officials, or spectator by any individual or coach will result in dismissal from the league and not permitted to return to OIYFL in any capacity or any OIYFL function.
