Our Recreation Basketball program is a great way to learn the game of basketball in a fun and competitive environment. It is to open to all skill levels. The recreation basketball programs give all players the opportunity to learn and improve in the game of basketball in an environment where everyone gets equal playing time.

Recreation League Information

The division alignment noted below and the actual number of games are subject to change based on actual league enrollment. Any division may be Co-ed if the registration numbers require it.  In addition, if there are not enough players to field enough teams to run an effective program, the division may participate in the Quabbin Valley Recreation League.
   
Our 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade boys and girls will be registered with the Quabbin Valley Basketball League. Quabbin Valley regular season will be played begin in January and end in March. Additional information can be found on the Quabbin Valley Basketball website:

JR. Eagles - This co-ed clinic consists of 8 one hour sessions spread throughout the season.  Dates may not be consecutive.  The clinic is open to Kidergarten grade boys and girls.  Players will participate in drills that teach the basic fundamentals of basketball.

     Each player will receive an EBA T-Shirt, a youth size indoor/outdoor basketball to bring to the clinic and keep afterwards

Boys Divisions

• Grades 1/2 - 3v3 style play. No Officials. Scoring is not tracked.  2 - 20 minute running time halves. 3 minute halftime. Subs will occur every 5 minutes. The coaches are on the floor with the players loosely officiating the game and teaching players the basketball fundamentals taught in practice. 
  • No playoffs in Grades Boys 1/2
• Grades 3/4 - 5v5 Rec style play Quabbin League 10-12 regular season games. Games are played any time on Saturday or Sunday and during the evening on weeknights. There will be no playoff in the 3/4th division.They will have a jamboree on March 8

  (boys) or March 9 (girls) hosted in Belchertown.

• Grades 5/6 - Quabbin League 10-12 regular season games. Games are played any time on Saturday or Sunday and during the evening on weeknights. The playoffs will be played in March.  
  

• Grades 7/8 - Quabbin League  10-12 regular season games. Games are played any time on Saturday or Sunday and during the evening on weeknights. The 8pm weeknight slot can only be used for the 7/8th grade division. The playoffs will be played March. 
  

Girls Divisions

High School Division
