2026 Majors Recreational

Registration for Oswego Baseball Club's 2026 Majors Recreational program. This is a no cut program and does not require a tryout. Evaluations may be required if there are enough players to form multiple teams.

Eligibility: In general, our Majors Rec program is for 5th and 6th graders. As long as a player will still be 12 years old as of 5/1/26 (per Cal Ripken age rules) they are eligible to play
Tryout: No tryouts; this is a no cut program
Roster size: TBD based on number of registrants, but typically 11-13 players per team
Season:
Spring/Summer: March - June: Full practice and game play
2 practices per week
Approximately 25 games
Play rules: 50’ pitching mound, 70’ bases. Leadoffs, balks, full baseball rules
Cost: Approximately $500 per player but could be more if teams/coaches want to play in weekend tournaments. Fee covers team gear, hats, insurance, umpires, and facility costs. Uniforms will be purchased separately and are an additional cost
