2026 Hingham Little League

Hingham Little League provides a positive environment for boys and girls to learn and grow as athletes, teammates, and friends while learning to love the game of baseball.

Age Levels

HLL provides baseball leagues for players Little League aged 5 to 16!

Your player's Little League age is the age they will be on August 31st of this year. (NOT necessarily the age they are right now.)

Season

Our league spring seasons will run from early April through mid-June. Summer travel and in-town Sandlot seasons begin mid-June and run through early August.

Fields

Hingham Little League operates eight 46/60 fields in town including Lynch Field 1, Lynch Field 2, Carlson Field, Hersey Field, Haley Field, Powers Field, Kress Field, and Hingham Middle School; one 50/70 field at Hingham Middle School; and two full 60/90 fields at Hingham High School and Cronin Field. We also play Senior League games at Beechwood Field and Milliken Field in Cohasset.

Practices

Tee Ball (5), Junior Farm (6), and Senior Farm (7) weekly weekend sessions include both a practice and a game. There are no additional sessions.

A (8), AA (9), AAA (10 & 11), and Majors (10, 11, & 12) teams will practice based on field availability and at the coach's discretion.

Intermediate League and Senior League teams will practice solely based on field availability and at the coach's discretion.

Games

Tee Ball, Junior Farm, Senior Farm, and A Division will play once a week on Sundays.

AA will play Mondays and Fridays.

AAA plays Tuesday and Thursdays.

Majors will play Mondays and Wednesdays.

Intermediate League plays Tuesdays and Fridays.

Senior League plays Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Jerseys

Your player will receive a team jersey and hat as part of their registration.

Baseball pants, cleats, and socks are not included.

Hingham Little League ("HLL") uses images and/or videos of players to showcase HLL games, activities, and programs. Photographs, videos, and/or the name of your child may be included in publications (print or digital), news releases, and on HLL maintained websites or social media accounts. If you DO NOT give HLL permission to use your child’s name or image in any public display or presentation, please opt out by emailing to [email protected].

Hingham Little League Softball provides a positive environment for girls to learn and grow as athletes, teammates, and friends while learning to love the game of softball.

Age Levels

When registering your player, please do so based on her Little League Age. Your player's Softball Little League age is the age they were on December 31, 2025. (NOT necessarily the age they are right now.)

Final division placement may be adjusted based on skill level and the total number of players registered.

Minors—Players Little League Age 7 and under (typically Kindergarten & 1st Graders)
D1—Players Little League Age 9 and under (typically 2nd & 3rd Graders)
D2—Players Little League Age 11 and under (typically 4th & 5th Graders)
D3—Players Little League Age 14 and under (typically 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders)

Season

Hingham Little League will permit field use at Carlson Field, South Elementary, and Hingham High School junior varsity and varsity fields.

Games

Minors—Players Little League Age 7 and under (typically Kindergarten & 1st Graders): Saturday afternoons (Hingham High School)
D1—Players Little League Age 9 and under (typically 2nd & 3rd Graders): Tuesday/Thursday (Hingham High School, Carlson Field, South Elementary, and surrounding towns)
D2—Players Little League Age 11 and under (typically 4th & 5th Graders): Monday/Wednesday (Hingham High School, Carlson Field, South Elementary, and surrounding towns)
D3—Players Little League Age 14 and under (typically 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders): Tuesday/Thursday (Hingham High School, Carlson Field, South Elementary, and surrounding towns)

Practices

Minors—will play a combined practice and game session on Saturdays only.
D1 - D3—will practice based on field availability and at the coach's discretion.

Jerseys

Your player will receive a team jersey and head band as part of their registration.

Softball pants, cleats, and socks are not included.

Defensive face masks are strongly recommended for in-field play
