Spring 7v7 football offers our youth football players the opportunity to continue to build their football skills in the offseason. 7v7 is a fast passed, non-contact version of American football that emphasizes passing, catching, and running skills. 7v7 is played on a smaller field with modified down and distance rules. 7v7 is a fun way to introduce our youth to the game of football as well as continue to develop passing skills that relate to traditional tackle football.

Spring 5v5 is a great pass block/pass rush development competition. Players compete as a team, but in an individual matchups to win pass rush/blocking reps. 5v5 relates very directly to the skills used on a play by play basis in tackle football. The competition is fun and fast passed.

Age groups will be based on current school grade as follows, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th. In both 7v7 and 5v5, players will wear a provided scrum cap and team jersey. Players will be asked to provide athletic shorts or pants, cleats, and a mouthpiece. The season will consist of 1-2 practices per week, and 5 north Idaho Sunday tournaments. The season will run from March to May 3rd. The first tournament will be help Sunday March 29 @ Sandpoint. Tentative tournament schedule is a follows: 3/29 @ Sandpoint, 4/12 @ TBD, 4/19 @ TBD, 4/26 @ TBD and 5/3 @TBD. There will be no activities over the Easter holiday.
