The Morristown Wildcat Football program helps children, and their families enjoy the football experience every time they step on a field.
Our Mission is to develop the premier fundamentals-based youth football program in Morris County, teaching sportsmanship, integrity, academic achievement and football skills/techniques while developing outstanding student athletes.
Our football program is a resource for coaches and players, helping everyone promote a positive experience for all participants. 
Participants must rent or pay taxes in Morristown, Morris Twp. or Morris Plains in order to participate in the Wildcats program. If there is a question regarding your residency, proof of residency will be required. A Morristown mailing address DOES NOT qualify. Harding residents must play for Madison

2025 Girls Flag Football

We are extremely excited to ANNOUNCE the inaugural season of GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL! It is the FASTEST growing high school sport and also an Olympic sport in 2028!

2025 Cheer Registration

MORRISTOWN WILDCATS CHEERLEADING 2025

Morristown Wildcats Cheerleading is available for residents in Grades 3 - 8 in the fall of 2025 who want to be
part of the sport of cheer! Cheerleaders will learn skills that will help them throughout their lives. Working in
small teams under the guidance of both high school cheerleaders and parent volunteers, the girls work together
to learn new cheers, dances, proper arm movements, jumps and stunts in a fun, safe environment. Younger
cheerleaders practice cheers and combine it with minimal athletics while our older cheerleaders integrate
physical stunts with more complex cheers. We welcome all to our squads, no prior experience is necessary!

2025 Cheer Season Information
******* REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! *******

Cheer registration includes cheer camp taught by our MHS Varsity cheerleading team, custom cheer music and routine
choreography, a 2025 Morristown cheer t-shirt,& 2 cheer hair bows (1 white/1 pink).

NEW SEASON - NEW LOGO - NEW CHEER UNIFORMS!!!!

We will be outfitting as many cheer teams this season in uniforms with the new M logo, all other levels will be updated for
the 2026 season. Fundraising is key, the more we make the more we can do!
Uniform shell & skirt will also be provided but needs to be returned at the end of the season.
(Any lost or damaged uniform will incur a $50 replacement fee, per piece)

We will be partnering with Morristown High School Cheer for our cheer camp again this season!!!
MANDATORY CHEER CHOREO CAMP will be 4 evenings from July 21-July 24

Grades 3, 4, 5 will be from 5:30-6:30 pm
Grades 6, 7, 8 will be from 6:00 -7:30 pm

**any rain date(s) will be made up in August during an already scheduled practice**
CHEER PRACTICES begin the week if August 11th and continue through the season

AUGUST PRACTICES

3 evenings per week at Simons Park Field in Morris Plains
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 5:30pm - 7pm
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER CHEER PRACTICES
2 evenings per week at Simons Park Field in Morris Plains
Tuesday & Wednesday from 5:30pm - 7pm
(may be reduced further at the discretion of the coaches per level as the season progresses)

***Important, NEW for 2025: We will be further collaborating EVERY Wednesday practice with the
MHS Varsity cheer team for STUNTING at all levels ready for the next steps ***
Uniform Sizing and Required Accessory Fitting (details, dates & times coming soon)

Mandatory Uniform Accessories include proper cheer sneaker, maroon boycut brief, white cheer midriff or bodyliner,
white low cut ped socks, black leggings, fleece or jacket, & set of silver cheer poms.
Bows to be provided, Pink poms are property of the Wildcats & are used during October only!
Optional items such as sweatshirts, jackets, backpacks and more will also be available for order.

GAMES begin the WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 6th.

ALL CHEER TEAMS will be cheering for Tackle Football Teams this season!!!

1 game per weekend, times & locations to be determined.

**schedules will be updated as they are released from league in late summer/early Sept.

IMPORTANT!!!! Cheer deadline to register is 6/15 ~ LATEST. Our teams have been filling up faster with each season, we
can only take a certain amount of cheerleaders per team and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Levels will be closed

as they reach capacity so please SIGN UP NOW!!!!

ATTN 3rd GRADE ONLY - WE NEED adult team coaches!!!! Parent/adult team coaches will be responsible for maintaining
attendance, supervision, ensuring rules/distance requirements are followed, & the progression of practices and/or games.
High school coaches will be responsible for teaching content at each level but we ask that our adult coaches also have a
strong understanding of the content after it has been taught to be able to facilitate practices & games when the high
school girls cannot attend due to their high school team commitments. We MUST have 2+ responsible parent/adult

coordinators per team level at every practice and game to field a cheer team for that season.
