Girls Youth Flag Football Eligibility
To ensure the integrity, safety, and competitive fairness of the BuxMont Female Flag (BMFF) League, the following eligibility requirements are in effect:
Eligibility Requirement:
Participation in the BMFF is exclusively limited to athletes who were assigned female at birth. This policy is established to preserve the spirit of fair competition in a biologically-based girls’ league designed to support equitable athletic development.
Verification Process:
All registrants must provide a copy of a government-issued birth certificate at the time of registration. The birth certificate must:
• Clearly indicate the athlete’s sex as female at birth.
• Match the full name and date of birth used on the registration form.
Failure to submit valid documentation will result in ineligibility to participate until such documentation is received and verified by league officials.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
All documents submitted will be kept confidential and stored securely. Information will only be used for the purpose of verifying eligibility and will not be shared beyond the designated league registration officials.
Appeals and Exceptions:
The BMFF league is structured to serve as a female-only league. At this time, no exceptions to this policy will be made.
Appeals based on gender identity or transition status will not be considered within this division, as the policy is rooted in birth sex to maintain competitive balance.
Athletes not meeting this eligibility requirement are encouraged to explore alternative co-ed flag football opportunities available in the area.
Policy Enforcement:
The league reserves the right to review, audit, or revoke participation at any time if submitted documentation is found to be incomplete, inaccurate, or falsified.
