HW Youth Cheerleading is a part of New England Commonwealth Youth Football & Cheerleading, rolling through AYC as our National Program. We also cheer at games for HW Youth Football/ Cape Ann League.

We can accept girls that are 6-14 years of age as of 07/01/26

Our cheerleading teams will be broken down by age/ grade, we practice 2 times per week with games every weekend after Labor Day- typically ending in November. Once registration closes you will find out your team assignment. For any special requests please enter during registration for consideration. Practice days/times to be released in July once registration is closed.

Practices will start the week of August 10th at Patton Park, once school starts we head into the town elementary schools.

Once school starts we are going to have a strict 3-strike policy with missing practices. If an athlete has 3 un-excused absences they will be removed from the competition routine and be a side-line only cheerleader. We cannot have athletes miss practices/ games for other sports/ activities - it is unfair to the girls that are at practice. Examples of excused absences: sick with Dr.note/ family emergency

Our competition season starts in Mid-October. Important dates to SAVE now. Subject to change and more information to come! These dates will be finalized and with you early August to plan accordingly.

November 14th TBD (If placed 1, 2, 3 at first competition)

Outside of competition and game days we will have 2-3 MANDATORY choreography days for competition.

Registration fee of $250 includes, uniform (must be returned at end of season), shorts for under uniform, socks, game day bow, breast cancer awareness bow, competition bow and tee-shirt.

Outside of registration purchases that must be made include, cheerleading shoes (link will be provided). Practice gear requirements are athletic shoes (cheerleading preferred) and then navy bottoms and a white top. We will provide a link for our team store in August for any extras (jackets/ pants/ etc..)
