EQUIPMENT
Players are provided with a jersey and hat. At the first meeting of the team, the Managers will let parents know what color pants, belt, and socks to be purchased. They can also guide you to other equipment you may want to purchase, i.e., bat, helmet, cleats etc.
PRACTICES
Practice will start in the middle of January. All practices times take place at Millham Field (Longden School) or Vincent Lugo Park in San Gabriel for all divisions until opening day. Practices after opening day will be scheduled at Vincent Lugo Park for all Divisions. Practice dates and times are based on your volunteer managers/coach's schedule.

GAME SCHEDULE
Games will start at the end of February. Games schedules are determined by the number of teams playing in each division. T Ball and Coach/Machine Pitch teams play no more than 2 games a week. Cal State, Coast, Majors, and Juniors usually play 2 games per week, but no more than 3 games a week. We do play games with Temple City American Little League and some game will be played at Live Oak Park. We do interlock with other teams within District 18.

PLAYER REQUEST
We can accommodate player request(friends to play on the same team) for Tee Ball and Machine Pitch only. At the in-person registration, please note your request on the paperwork. All other divisions require players to be drafted onto a team. However, you can note on the paperwork at registration, but there are no guarantees.

PLAYER EALAUTIONS(TRTOUTS)
With the exception of Tee Ball, Coach/Machine Pitch and returning Major League players from last year, all players, league age 7-12-year-old are required to attend the evaluation dates for their age group, not their division of play. Players will need to bring their gloves, bat, helmet and cleats to the evaluation. The league will have bats to use.The evaluations are usually scheduled in 1st or 2nd week of January. The purpose is to evaluate players skills in throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and running to form balanced teams within each division. Tee Ball and Machine Pitch teams are formed with an emphasis on allowing friends to play together and keeping teams as equal as possible. All other divisions, players are selected through a draft system.During the month of January after the player evaluations are completed, the drafting of teams is held under the supervision of the Player Agent, with President or Vice President. Drafts are held in strict adherence to the rules outlined in the Little League Operating Manual. Every effort is made to form balanced teams.
TEAM PLACEMENT GUIDELINES
In addition to baseball skills, TCNLL places its primary emphasis on teaching our youngsters the concepts of fair play, good sportsmanship, and team participation. Our goal is to ensure that players are assigned to teams appropriate to their age, physical well-being and skills while maintaining balanced teams.
