Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association Select Program Announcement

I'm pleased to announce that in partnership with Braves Country Baseball, AYBA is offering an Out-Of-Park (OOP) baseball program that is a highly competitive, tournament level program focused on advanced development and garnering success called AYBA Spring Select. All Spring Select program teams will practice and/or play only on Sundays. The “tournament battles” could be at any time between 8am – 8pm on Sunday and held at a park within 1 hour of Wills. Teams will begin play in late February during the Spring rec season and go through early May.

To be eligible for the Spring Select baseball program you must attend the Spring Rec Evaluations and participate in AYBA’s Spring Recreation baseball program in the 6–12-year-old age groups. If evaluations are missed, you will not have the opportunity to participate in the program. The top scored players from the Spring Rec Evaluations in each respective age group will be called back for an additional tryout for the Spring Select program. Ages are determined by your player’s age as of 4/30/25. Note that although the 9/10u and 11/12u age groups are combined for rec, there will be a separate Spring Select team for each age group. Coaches of the Spring Select program will be determined after the Spring Rec Evaluations and when the tryouts are finalized. Please keep in mind that this is a true tryout and not every player will be selected to play Select program.

There will be an additional cost to participate in the Spring Select baseball program (uniform, travel expense and tournament fees). This is a time and cost commitment that does not fit every family. Please make sure your family is committed before accepting a position if chosen.
