Selecting a bat can be confusing... there are so many options.  Here are the official Little League rules on bats as well as guide selecting a bat.

There are two main factors for selecting a bat for Little League.

• The size of the bat to the player.
• Having an officially licensed bat, which means your player's bat MUST be stamped with the USA Baseball Logo.
  

For the following divisions a full face shield must be worn on the helmet to be considered legal.

• Minors (10/9)
• Pee Wee (8/7)
• JMP (6)
• Tadpole (5)

For Majors and above a full face shield is optional and may be replaced with a c-flap that covers the players jawline on the field side of their face when batting.

All other equipment is a personal preferences and should be selected based on the player's comfort level with the equipment and their ability to use it.   Below are just a few examples.
