Lassen Fastpitch Softball Weather Rules

In Addition to Weather Rules set by ASA

●      Wind - Play ball with wind chill 32 degrees or above. Wind chill based on game start time and field location.

●      Attendance due to weather - Team will have to forfeit if not enough players show for game. Game cannot be rescheduled.

●      Lightning - ASA guidelines stand. If lightning in question, it must be within 6 miles of game locations, Umpires will pause game for 30-minutes from last sighting or sound. Continue this guideline up to the game’s final minute/inning to avoid cancelling and rescheduling. 

●      Rain or Snow - Call will be made by time of game by Umpires. Umpires will call and report their call to the Umpire-in-Chief and/or league President for recognition. 

●      Air Quality - Play ball with air quality at or below 100 AQI. 

** There will be a weather station located in the Umpire gear shed by snack bar for Umpires to reference.
