Rules Summary

Skill Assessments

We have received several questions regarding tryouts. Your player is not trying out with the hope of making a team. Every registered player will be placed on a team. There will be no cuts or exclusions; every child will play..

We are conducting skills assessments to help us assemble competitive and balanced teams. This process also allows players who wish to move up a division to do so. This season, we have five divisions, three of which are considered competitive. Players in these competitive divisions are required to attend our skills assessment in March.

If you have a player in the Rookies (8U) division who wishes to play up a division, they must also attend the assessment clinic.

It's important to note that participation in these skills assessments and evaluations is contingent upon each child meeting Little League's eligibility requirements. This eligibility will allow them to potentially advance to higher levels of play within the Little League organization, including All-Stars, tournaments, and possibly even the Little League World Series.

Player assessment will consist of the following:
  • Hitting
  • Fielding Fly Balls
  • Fielding Ground Balls
  • Pitching
