Hillside Jr. Comets is a non-profit organization established with the objective of teaching the children of Hillside and the surrounding communities, the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in an organized, supervised environment with emphasis on safety in an atmosphere conducive to developing a sound mind, body, and character. We inspire the youth to practice the ideals of good sportsmanship, scholarship, and personal integrity. This program follows the rules and regulations under American Youth Football.

All the Executive Board members, Coaches, and other positions within the Hillside Jr, Comets Youth Football and Cheer Program are Volunteers. Our Coaches and Board Members work with Parents, Educators, and other Community stakeholders to ensure that the children remain focused on their studies and stress the importance of education and good character. We are proud to have had National Scholar Athletes every year.
