Fremont Summer League Tournaments

The Fremont Summer League is excited to announce that we will be hosting a recreational baseball and softball tournaments for 8U teams. The tournaments are designed to provide youth players with the opportunity to play more games and, most importantly, to have fun on the field.

The tournament will be open to teams in the specified age groups, and we encourage all interested teams to register and participate. This is a great opportunity for players to showcase their skills, enjoy the spirit of competition, and develop their love for the game of baseball and softball.

Our goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where young athletes can come together to play the sport they love. We believe that participating in tournaments like this can help players build confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It also offers a chance for kids to make new friends and create lasting memories. Coaches, parents, and spectators are encouraged to support the players in a respectful manner and create a positive atmosphere for the tournaments.

The tournaments will be held at our facilities, which are equipped with quality fields and amenities to ensure a great experience for players and spectators alike. Our staff is dedicated to organizing a well-run event that prioritizes safety and fair play.

We are looking forward to seeing the passion and dedication of all the teams that will be joining us for the tournament. The Fremont Summer League is dedicated to promoting youth sports and looks forward to hosting a successful and memorable tournaments for all involved. We encourage teams to register and join us for a weekend of exciting baseball and softball action!

Tournament General Rules

Every team is guaranteed 2 games (weather permitting)
Baseball player ages are to be as of May 1, 2026 for all age groups. Softball player ages are to be as of August 31, 2025 for all age groups.
Teams are to provide a roster for their team with birth dates included. Please have copies of birth certificate on hand if there is a question on the age of a player.
Team medals will be given to the tournament winner and runner-up.
Rules for play will be Little League rules for baseball and NFHS for softball with a few adjustments.
Teams playing in the tournament must have insurance for their team.
Roster limited to 12 players.

Game 1 - A vs C
Game 2 - D vs F
Game 3 - B vs A
Game 4 - E vs D
Game 5 - C vs B
Game 6 - F vs E

Top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs the next day.

(Highest seed is home; otherwise a toss of a coin if tied)
