Want to Coach BPAR This Season?!

Volunteer coaches are the heart of BPAR Sports — we truly couldn’t do it without you! If you’re passionate about youth development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, we would love for you to join our coaching team!

Important Coaching Requirements

  • BPAR conducts background checks on ALL coaches (Head & Assistant) for the safety of our players.

  • Head Coaches must be legal adults (18+).

  • Any minor wishing to assist with coaching must be accompanied at all times (practices, games, etc.) by a cleared adult coach.

  • No minor may be listed or serve as a Head Coach.

Practice Guidelines

  • Practice times and locations are set by the individual coach.

  • It is the Coaches responsibility to find/secure a practice location for BPAR Sports.

  • It is strongly recommended that practice does NOT exceed three (3) hours per week.

How to Become a BPAR Coach (Head or Assistant)

To coach with BPAR, you must complete the following:

Complete the Online Coaches Application

  • The application is located under the “Coaches” tab on the BPAR website.

  • Paper applications are no longer accepted.

  • The online application allows BPAR to:

    • Run required background checks

    • Add approved coaches to official team rosters

  • Please Note: The coaching application will NOT be available until registration for that specific sport opens.

Coaching Multiple Teams – Important Guidelines

We understand that some volunteers may assist with multiple teams. To ensure proper scheduling and accountability, the following rules apply:

One Head Coach Per Team – Per Age Group

  • A coach may serve as a Head Coach for only one team per age group.

    • Example: A coach may be Head Coach for one 7–8 team and one 9–10 team, but NOT two teams in the same age group.

  • MANDATORY: Each team must have at least one BPAR-approved Assistant Coach on file for backup coverage.

Assistant Coaches – Secondary Contact & Preparedness

  • The listed Assistant Coach serves as the secondary point of contact if the Head Coach cannot be reached.

  • MANDATORY: Each team must have at least one approved Assistant Coach.

  • Depending on the sport, multiple Assistant Coaches may be allowed.

  • Assistant Coaches are expected to step in and assume full coaching duties if the Head Coach is unavailable.

  • Head Coaches should plan ahead for conflicts to ensure continuous team coverage.

Scheduling Conflicts

  • If a coach participates with multiple teams, BPAR will attempt to avoid scheduling conflicts when possible.

  • However, conflicts are not guaranteed to be avoided, and games will NOT be rescheduled due to overlapping coach responsibilities.

Want to Create a Team Roster?

  • Download the Team Roster Form from the “Coaches” tab on the BPAR website.

  • Complete and submit the roster:
