Aloha and thank you for your interest in supporting VISLL!

Valley Isle Softball Little League (VISLL) is a newly established, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and we are reaching out to you regarding a great opportunity to support youth on Maui.  We are introducing a new girls softball league within our community, under the umbrella of the Little League International organization which supports baseball and softball worldwide. 

Little League Softball has been around since 1974.  The State of Hawaii has participated in this organization on O’ahu and Hawai’i island with teams advancing to the Little League Softball World Series, the equivalent of the Little League Baseball World Series held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  We would like to extend participation in this worldwide organization on the island of Maui.

The COVID pandemic negatively impacted softball participation on Maui, and we are hoping to reinvigorate enthusiasm for the sport by providing additional opportunities for girls to play ball.  Our goal is to teach the fundamental skills of softball as well as teamwork, physical well-being, positive self-esteem, and good sportsmanship.   

Valley Isle Softball Little League is starting from ground zero, and we need your help as well as the support of our community to get this program up and running for the girls of Maui.  We humbly request your assistance and support to help with funding for the league. Your contribution is tax-deductible and will be used for operational expenses including insurance, equipment, administrative fees, umpires, coaching clinics, safety training, etc.  This will in turn lessen the financial burden for participants and encourage community members to become more actively involved in establishing this new league.
