GAME DAY:

Iowa Soccer Recreational Rules: 

You may utilize your Team Stack app roster on your phone at game check in. A laminated roster will also be provided in your coaches bag. 

Game Time:

  1. U8’s - 8 minute quarters; 4v4

  2. U10’s – 25 minute halves; 7v7

  3. U12’s – 30 minute halves; 9v9

  4. U13’s – 35 or 40 minute halves (7v7 on U12 field or 11v11 on large field)

If you feel a game is not managed well and has become unsafe, don’t argue with the Ref or other Team. Quietly ask your team to leave the field, forfeit the game, and leave the complex. Be sure to report the incident to the Board. Safety first.

Rescheduling Games

How to make a change to a game:
Please reach out to the TSF Soccer board via email ([email protected]) to notify the board that you are needing to reschedule a game.

 

When you need to reschedule a game (Home)  - Home team is responsible for submitting the reschedule form. 

  1. Contact the coach from the other team and let them know that you need to reschedule a game. 

    1. If the game is within the next 24-48 hours- Submit the reschedule form on the Iowa Soccer website with the date 6/6/2026 @ any time so the game gets removed from the schedule and parents are notified of the change.

  2. Always define a couple dates and times with the other teams coach that work for the rescheduled game. 

    1.  If the game is a home game- we would like to keep it at home and utilize our referees.

    2. If the game is away and needs to be changed to home- we will need to ensure a field and referee is available. 

 

  1. Reach out to your referee assignor  to make sure a field and a referee is available for the rescheduled game. They will be able to confirm both.

    1.  Our referee assignor- Kim Baker- text or call her at 563-422-8697 

  • Please allow adequate time for Kim to respond and locate a referee that is able to assist. 

  • If you don't hear back within 12 hours, please call/text Board President Ashlie K. 319-429-0055


4. Once you have finalized a date and time and a referee has been assigned. submit the official reschedule form with Iowa soccer.

5. The ISL Rec Northeast Spring 2026 Schedule will be linked on our league site

Look at the Game Schedule to obtain Game # to utilize on reschedule form

This is also where you will locate the contact information for the other teams coaches.

 

7. Scroll down to bottom of landing page to view “Game Day Tools” 

8. Click on “Reschedule Form”
9. Fill in the appropriate information and submit.
