Recreational baseball in the Bridgerland area (Cache, Rich, Box Elder and Franklin counties) has traditionally been provided by the recreation departments of the various towns and cities. While many do an excellent job, these same people are tasked with many youth sports, and in some of these towns and cities, baseball is a low priority. By forming our own Little League, we put baseball in the hands of baseball people who are willing to and can go the extra mile to ensure an excellent learning experience for our youth.
Little League provides a common set of rules, well-established coach training, and other resources. Additionally, while this will not be available until 2027, competing on a Little League team provides our youth with an opportunity to compete in the Little League World Series Tournament.
Little League participation in Utah is small, but growing.
