MHT Cheer 2026

The Mile High Thoroughbreds Cheer Program is designed to introduce youth participants to the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Open to all skill levels, this program focuses on promoting physical fitness, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while supporting Pop Warner football teams throughout the season.
Participants will learn basic cheerleading skills, including:
  • Sideline cheers and chants
  • Arm motions and jump techniques
  • Beginner stunts and formations (age-appropriate)
  • Game-day performance skills
The program emphasizes safety, positivity, and personal growth, ensuring each participant feels included and encouraged regardless of experience level. Coaches are trained to provide instruction that builds both cheerleading ability and life skills such as discipline, leadership, and collaboration.
Cheerleaders will:
  • Practice regularly to build skills and routines
  • Perform at scheduled football games
  • Participate in team-building activities
  • Have opportunities to showcase routines at local events or showcases
This recreational program is non-competitive (or lightly competitive, if applicable) and is ideal for youth looking to have fun, stay active, and be part of a spirited team environment.
