About Us

Northeast Youth Association has been providing sports activities for children in Northeast Guilford County for over 30 years. NEYA is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. We provide cheerleading, and  football. – A Tax Exempt 501 (C) 3 Non-profit Organization 

We believe that participating in our football or cheer programs will help to instill children with life-long values of teamwork, dedication, and superior work ethic both in the classroom and on the playing field.  Our programs have no tryouts.  Everyone participates under mandatory minimum play rules.   Our number one goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable and memorable football experience for all participating children. 

 

The league ensures every child with the desire to participate is allowed the opportunity to play football or participate in cheer, without regard to prior experience, athletic ability or initial capabilities.

Coaches at all levels will adhere to a safety first policy.  Some players may not play certain positions in the interest of keeping all players safe.
