The 5U-7U season runs April-June, and the 9U-15U season runs end of March-June. Practices begin in early March, contingent on the weather.
When purchasing a bat for your son, know that at the 9U-13U level the bat should clearly display a 1.15 BPF stamp and at the 15U level the bat should show a BBCOR stamp. These types of bats are readily available at all sporting goods stores.
