Cincinnati Junior Rollergirls!

About CJRG

Mission

CJRG is a volunteer run youth sports organization dedicated to brining together girls of diverse backgrounds, body types,  and abilities and helping to develop overall fitness and health, self confidence,  sportswomanship, and leadership through the sport of flat track roller derby.

More about CJRG

The Cincinnati Junior Rollergirls were founded in 2011 by retired Cincinnati Rollergirls Kathy Kissing (a.k.a. Panterrorize) and Lauren Bishop (a.k.a. Miss Print), who wanted to bring the competitive, full-contact sport of flat track roller derby to Cincinnati-area girls ages 8 to 17. Other current and former Cincinnati Rollergirls serve as coaches. All coaches and support staff are volunteers.

CJRG is a proud member of the Junior Roller Derby Association. Skaters are regularly tested on skating skills and the rules of the game and are placed in one of three JRDA-established skill levels: Level 1 (no contact – positional blocking only); Level 2 (JRDA full contact play; no accelerating to hit or block) and Level 3 (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association-level full contact play).
