The objective of Washington Borough Youth Baseball shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty. loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, more confident and better baseball players.

The following are the goals that WBYB has for each players experience:  -  Develop the skills needed to safely advance to the next level of play  -  Emphasize teamwork, a positive attitude and good sportsmanship 
-  Provide positive reinforcement based on effort 
-  Provide a safe and healthy environment for all of the kids on the team 
-  Teach the kids new knowledge about the game, including game specifics as age allows.
