Milan Christmas Parade

We are excited to announce that the Milan Youth League is registered to have a float in the Milan Area Chamber Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1st at 6:00 pm. The theme this year is, Christmas Around the World, and they have added a $500 cash prize for the best float entry! We would like to invite all 2018 MYL players and coaches to join us in walking in the parade with the float and proudly representing the MYL. The 2018 10u softball district championship team will be honored by riding on the float, and MYL T-ball, baseball and softball players and coaches (all T-ball players need to accompanied by an adult) are invited to join the parade by walking with the float and handing out candy. Help with building the float will be needed, from a hand with construction to donation of materials. Please contact Cathy Bladen as soon as possible at [email protected], if you are interested in helping in any capacity, or if you plan on joining us in the parade so we can plan accordingly and have enough candy to pass out. We encourage all players and coaches to wear any MYL apparel they have along with any Christmas accessories. If weather permits, we ask players to wear their ball pants and socks along with their MYL hats. We look forward to getting the MYL community back together for yet another fun event!
